Who\'s Rob?

Rememer, most of the fans you will get from here on out will probably have no idea who Jordan is, and a lot will not know much about Ron either.  So it really doesnt matter that they will not be in the band for a national tour.  If they can find a very solid bass player and hit the road, they will blow up, mark my words.

valid point...

now that we are out of the departure thread...
my thoughts after jordan left and this 08\' buzz:  i knew that ron was going to have to be replaced weather is was under his own voluntary terms or other events that would of led to this.  I honestly and wholesomely think that the vocals are a huge culprit in the success of  this band.  For me personally I was able to digest the sound right away and I was immediately stimulated by it.  But some people just don\'t comprehend in that order...

I guess you can pretty much say thats tough love but I don\'t mean any disrespect within any stretch of thought...
3-4-05:  Inspired, enlightened, surprised, excited, confused, evoked euphoria, focused, newfound faith in music.

I told you people, but you refuse to listen.  Spacey is the new bassist.  He\'s also a zen disaster.

I think they should move out of New Haven and out to somewhere with more of a scene going on to create a buzz...... Boulder/Fort Collins, or Burlington, or Asheville or Madison WI, or Portland OR, or something along those lines, move west, there are more appreciative music fans out here

I agree 100% Phil. If they moved to Colorado I would become part of the Breakfast team so fast, promoting, merch, handing them beer at gigs, WHATEVER. can you make this happen?

Next bass player = dude from Twiddle or guy from George Lesiw group on the standup double bass

Twiddle\'s new bass player or old one??

The Breakfast are not moving.
The Breakfast will still be a quartet.

Jesus. Everyone is really getting ahead of themselves here. A couple people mention moving out west and we already have someone seriously asking, "Can you make this happen?" This thread is a tad absurd already imo.

I agree that Colorado is where it\'s at, I lived there for awhile and the mediocre bands would pull thick crowds consistently.

But have we forgotten that Adrian just had a kid too? You guys realize he already has a family, right? I know nothing about what Adrian and Tim do outside of music and how they feel about home in New Haven, but this is ridiculous. Bottom line is they still do not make money, and if everyone was still 21 or 22 years old, with themselves only as responsibilities, then they\'d have the ability to say "Fuck it, let\'s give it a shot." But it didn\'t happen when they were in that position.

So now we must look at reality which in short is: this is all totally up to the human beings in the band.  Right now, they are "auditioning" for a new bass player (I\'m wondering from some comments if the auditions are already over) and they plan on continuing to make music.

Oh, and if Spacey is the new bassist the band is doomed. How does he find time to practice when he\'s posting on .info 22 hours a day??  ;)
