LMA is an Archive and it is best used as that.I love many things about LMA but it has problems many times in accessing it.

BT sites such as e.tree are essential in spreading the music of The Breakfast. I know I check it every day to see what has popped up. The most recent shows in our jamscene are posted here and there is actually a community there that discusses the shows put up. It would not hurt to read some Breakfast in those discussions.

That being said, I am an idiot when it comes to uploading and seeding so if anyone on here is smart enough to seed shows pls do. LMA is great but we may as well use as many resources as we can.

just for the record, in case it wasn\'t clear before, i totally agree with this - i just don\'t have the bandwidth to do it all myself, especially now that i\'m working from home.

ok, i\'m trying to put up 11/29 onto bt.etree... its asking for checksums. where would i get those from??

would they be a part of all this stuff??

checksums are the md5 file.

right click the md5 file, click \'edit\', and copy and paste them into the description.

wow... how amzingly simple was that?? and after i\'d left clicked that thing like twelve times! color me embarassed!

how come i can never seem to d/l from myself to get torrents going??? on a little site that\'s mostly just a couple acquaintances, i hit d/l and it works, torrents appear. but i\'ve tried to put some up on stmusic, what.cd and now this one on be.etree and they\'re just sitting there, not moving???

they shouldn\'t really be moving until someone hops on to start downloading from you. you should just be able to point it to the folder the show exists in, and you\'ll be all set to start seeding.

but don\'t i have to dl them for them to show up on the trackers? because according to my utprrent i did dl theis one and its got the up arrow, but it hasn\'t shown up on the page yet. i guess that\'s the real issue, they don\'t seem to show up on the tracker pages... am i an idiot or just impatient? i can take it if i\'m an idiot...

fair enough. clancywiggum just gave me a helpful bit of advice, too (ie, don\'t dl from the torrent on etree, but open the torrent on my desktop and go from there.) hopefully between these two success shall be had!

and seriously, thanks a ton for helping me with this!!

thanks for putting stuff up there. i like torrents i just wish i could schedule like with smartftp.... to go on and off at scheduled times. any of you guys out there have that on your torrent downloader. i use bitTornado

well, i\'m getting closer... by using bittornado i was able to become a leecher, but i still can\'t figure out how to start seeding it. there are now two leechers (clancy and me)... so confused...



as for scheduling, i don\'t know... i keep utorrent open 24/7 and have never had issues with bandwidth (surprisingly)....

now, if i can only figure out why it took so long/didn\'t work at first so as to make this a smoother process next time...
