dave, nice meetin u. band sounded great as usual.  i was hoping the girl dacing on stage during \'what the funk\'  was going to try to dance through \'Grand scheme \', cuz she probably couldnt get into much of a groove to dance during that one , but luckily steve got her off the stage to save her fro embarassment..

great show.  The first set was a little weird I think everyone was just getting used to the venue.  The second set the debauchery began.  Stylistically one of the best Greg Ellis light show I\'ve seen, just looked great.  Every song was pretty much a monster.  Escher\'s was great.  Honeybutter was nice and funky.  But it was all about the WTF>Scheme>Question.  KILLER!  Great place the guys shoulod def return.

tim\'s ponytail = coke dealer. he sported that do in chicago.

quick question. i have three versions of Tunage on disc now -- is the segment of trade-offs at the end built into the actual structure of the song? i guess ive never thought about it but it seems they do it every time and originally i just assumed it was improvised....?
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

ive heard it 3 times now live and every time theyve done this, so im guessing it is written in the song.

Good first set.  Esher\'s was good, but Tunage was truly great.

The second set may have been one of the best second sets I\'ve ever seen.  STL was a killer.  What the Funk was huge, but I think that Grand Scheme was just pure magic.  I really can\'t think of anything that can put it into words.  Question blew it up, and Drunk Monk was fuckin\' smokin\' from begining to end, I still don\'t know how they figured a way to bring it back from where they took it.  Something other than Vermont song would\'ve been nice but at least it wasn\'t a cover.

Very good show.  Solid first set.  MONSTER  of a second set.   Nice little place, hope they come back.

Ugh... Long day. Got home at 6:15 this morning. Holy shit.

Yeah the girls got old. Entertaining at first... but then when one is in between Ron and his mic stand so he can\'t get at it it is pretty annyoing. One song... cool. When you start interfering with the band... not cool.

Great to see everyone... Seemed like everyone was having a blast. I was in serious recovery mode. Too much beer/wine/vodka/Jager on Thanksgiving. I was happy for the seats, that\'s for sure. I really liked the venue: intimate and very relaxed. It sounded great, the lights were good, I would love to go there again. Looking at some of the names on the wall, I couldn\'t help to think what it would be like seeing Pat Metheny or Al DiMiola there. They definitely book some good names.

Great show. First set was fun; Tunage is a monster. Have to love that song. I\'m kind of sick of Honeybutter.  I was actually happy to hear IG because it has been so long. It really is a solid song, just got overplayed. Second set was pretty scorching... I have to agree with Chris about the WTF> TGSOT > Question... I was thinking the whole time how a show like this really disproves the "every TGSOT is the same" theory. Don\'t think I have ever heard such an interesting DMB, but I could be wrong. I still hate Vermont Song.

Dave, those two you were talking to who saw the band for the first time and loved them were the guys sitting to my left. Serious jerks. I\'m glad they liked the band and I hope they come back for more, but I really could have done without their snide remarks about all of the people up and dancing and having a good time. Not to mention the throwing shit at Mark with the "hey asshole down in front" comments. I mean, there was no shortage of open seats, and no one was making them stay there. They could have moved instead of being bitchy about other people having fun. Bleh. Also the guy/girl shouting a conversation  for half the show right behind Mike\'s mics. Double bleh.

Thanks for the heads up on the diner Drew. We made it. Good times. Our waitress hated us I think.

I don\'t even know what to say about Rock Band. I think my ears are still ringing.

Thanks Paul for the ride from and back to Meriden.

Also... my favorite quote of the night may have been someone shouting, when they came back on stage for the encore, "Play Question again!"

That or something about a rotunda ;)

Can\'t wait to hear this one - sounds like it was a good \'un. Funny how we were only discussing here recently that Question needed to come back into the set. ;)
