Is it me or is this the first FF that they didn\'t play Superfly?  I guess they had to end that run at some point.

The fun factor for the show was 10 out of 10.

Been years since I raged that hard and had that much fun and laughed that hard!

Much love to everyone in attendance... can\'t wait to see you all again very soon!

Immediate top 3 breakfast show in my career- rivaled by last night of the 4-20-05 run and maybe nothing else, but i\'d have to go back and look

people were totally into it all night, the breakfast tunes were ser and tight.  call me crazy, but i think the bathtub gin was the best jam of the phish tunes, although reba almost made me cry.  gladys pimp steals the night in my mind- TOTAL THROWDOWN!!!!  I raged so hard I literally injured something in my left shoulder, still pain when i lift my arm up above my shoulder.  Still totally worth it.   My God.

Certainly it was great to have the bass player from my favorite non-actively touring band play with my favorite actively touring band, but it was even cooler to hear the story Mike told after the show about how they won the studio hours to record lawn boy in the battle of the bands when Fishman was lowered from the rafters totally naked.  Fishman was supposed to take a vacuum cleaner solo over a little bass line by mike, but the vacuum cleaner was unplugged!  so trey tried to save the day and unplug something and plug in the vacuum, but he unplugged the bass amp!!       needless to say they won the event, and now we have lawn boy in the annals of both phish and breakfast history.    i\'m down with that!

pleasure to meet weekapaug and gordo as well!!

on the topic of the gordo sit in......

to me it was a very awesome thing for gordo to do!

he basically gave the band tons of respect just by showing up and tons more by sitting in on a very short tune.

it also reduces the gimmicky factor and adds ridiculous amounts of credibility to the performance of the album and makes it that much more ophishal phace ownaage.  "Mike approves."

The shortness and song selection of the sit in says symbolically that It was basically a MAJOR tipping of the cap by gordo and a somewhat passing off the torch from the godfathers of this shit to the young bucs who are ready to take over.

So Mike if you read this or even if not...Thanks alot!!!!

jking - yeah sorry, my youtube clips are staticy.  they were taken with a regular digital camera, and combined with the fact that the volume is always set to 11 at shows, the camera can\'t really handle audio that loud without static.

unfortunately, that is all that i have got, but it is better than nothing right now.

^^ well said sir klout.

i had so much fun at the freakout!!!  i wish i could re-live it all over again, definitely a memorable and magical show.  my legs are still sore as hell, too many rock star jumps.  the whole show was fucking ill, i still can\'t really describe it so thanks to those who already chimed in.  the only thing i can say that after the mike gordon sit in, shit got crazy and it was LOUD!  it was great meeting all new .infoers that i\'ve never met before (gordo, weakapaug, ds as fluffhead, the guys on the 3rd floor, leith- nice to see you again).  many thanks to postom for the ride, (i wanna get my cheese sometime this week!)  i wish all breakfast shows were like the freakout!  great costumes all around.  pics will be posted shortly.
