If you like the movie "Scarface" and the "Gangland" series on the History Channel, then I highly recommend the documentary "Cocaine Cowboys". I saw this about a year ago and it awed my cellebrum. Warning: its pretty whacked. Scarface is pretty much a g-rated version of Cocaine Cowboys. Let me know what you think.

seen it, its pretty crazy how the city of miami was entirely built on drug money.

Frost/ Nixon... on paper sounds like the worst idea for a movie ever, but I think it\'s Ron Howards best work

I thought Funny People was fantastic. The \'laugh-out loud\' aspect definitely comes to a screeching halt at a certain point, but I think that it was a great twist on a cookie-cutter plot in several aspects. The characters were incredibly real and flawed, which made the film feel disjointed and unpolished, but in the best way possible.

yeah i thought it was pretty interesting.  its a proper scifi movie without all the action.

ive been watching a couple of documentaries lately about the food industry in america and there are some pretty good ones.  not sure if they were mentioned on here before but Food Inc and King Corn are two really great films that people should see.  king corn can be streamed from netflix.

also for anyone who really likes intense scifi films that really make you think, check out Primer.  its one of the best out there....kinda reminds me of Pi.  that can also be streamed from netflix as far as i know.
