just thought i\'d drop in and say that Quarantine was the biggest steaming pile of shit i\'ve seen in a while. that\'s all.

Are you surprised by this, or just venting because you wasted your time watching Quarantine?

yes, i obviously went into Quarantine expecting to see several oscar-worthy performances and was flat out shocked when it didn\'t deliver.

actually, i was hoping for a halfway decent scary zombie-esque type of movie, and was disappointed that it wasn\'t even that.

not to mention that the final scene of the movie is in the fucking trailer. seriously, WHO DOES THAT??

I have not seen this movie, and have no plans to.  More just cause I\'m not a horror/zombie/whatever you wanna call it movie guy.  But, the main character in this movie is the actress from Dexter on Showtime, and I can\'t fuckin stand her.  She is the only character that really removes me from the situation.  Maybe it\'s her character, but something about her irritates the shit outta me.  Don\'t know if she was any good in the movie, but someone who cast her must not have been paying attention.  God awful.

Weren\'t Walberg and Phoenix also in another crime drama together?  Anyway, We Own the Night got a standing O at Cannes... must say something.  I say go for it.  If you have a Netflix account you can watch it for free online, probably what I\'ll end up doing.

By the way, I\'m seeing all these rumors on IMDB that Phoenix is quiting acting to pursue a career in music.

I\'m pretty sure this wasn\'t mentioned before, but I just recently saw Deja Vu with Denzel Washington. Interesting movie. Maybe a little impossible, but they cover themselves by the impossibilities being controlled by the government. So, back to the conspiracy theory that aliens exist and the government is just not telling us about them. That type of thing.

Saw \'No Country for Old Men\'. I thought it was pretty good but my wife was pissed at the ending.
Negative, I am a meat popsicle.

^^I wanted nothing to do with that movie, but everything I\'ve been seeing and hearing about it has been great.

i honestly thought it was going to suck and was looking for excuses to not go. really glad i couldn\'t come up with any good excuses. it\'s not going to get an academy award or anything, but it is really funny.
