Their manager\'s daughter used to work for me and mcajam.  It\'s actually his first documentary.  She went to Toronto with him to help show the film in their film festival.  I haven\'t seen it though so this information is useless. sorry.

I just got into them!  I really enjoy the new album.  definitely different than what i expected.  Did Arcade Fire play there, or no?

I definitely agree the strangers had potential.  I feel the "just because you were home" was lame.

it did look alright.  that\'s why when it rotated to someone\'s turn for sunday movie night and they suggested it, i was game.   But it was awful.   I don\'t know what M. Knight Shadadadada was thinking.  The script was horrible.  I\'ve seen better acting from a group of middle schoolers.   I mean, I know Marky Mark isn\'t the greatest.  But after seeing such a knock out performance in The Departed,I had high hopes he could hold his own.  Zooey Deschannel thought acting meant bugging her eyes out for half the movie.  Just awful all around.   I think its already out of the theaters.

A pretty good movie with no buzz, its almost small time, only playing at the Criterion in New Haven is "The Promotion".   Funny stuff.  Recommend it highly.  Especially for those who work in retail.

Does that theater have anything in common with the "Criterion" series of DVDs?

I was curious about this one. I heard an interview on NPR with the guy who wrote it that really piqued my curiosity. It seems like it might be a bit dark in its portrayal of humans, and it looked like it would be visually pretty entertaining too.

I\'ve been hearing that it\'s the best Pixar movie to date.  But I have yet to see Cars, so we\'ll see. I don\'t really see how anything can top Monsters Inc and Nemo.
