I always like letting people know about bands they might not know, but I am not preaching to you...some you\'ll like, some you won\'t.  Listen to all the tracks first though because alot of these groups have very diverse styles from song to song.

Black Moth Super Rainbow Psychedelic / Pop / Folk

of Montreal pop

Chromeo two-step

Ghostland Observatory Electro / Punk

pLaid ambient/electronic/idm

Those are all myspace pages so you can sample some music w/o having to buy/DL anything.  They aren\'t all just electronic either, although most will have electronic influences. ENJOY!

KJ Sawka DnB/Breakbeat

Pendulum DnB/Rock

The Brian Jonestown Massacre Rock/Psychedelic/Alt.

Black Rebel Motorcycle Club Rock/Psychedelic/folk

The Knife Think a darker Bjork

the Presets electro/indie/pop

Boom Bip electro/idm/hip-hop

Atmosphere indie/hip-hop

Booka Shade electro/techno

Datarock indie/classic rock/pop

Cloud Cult indie/pop/rock

Califone blues/expirimental/folk

Thanks Walsh.OUt of all of those I have only heard pLaid, Booka Shade, and BRMC. The first two I like. I got in (for free) to like the last 25 minutes of a BRMC show at the Avalon after going to a Sox game... and I didn\'t really like them. Thought they were pretty blah. Although I did try to start a mosh pit, obtain a black eye from a friend elbowing me in the face, and fall down twice. Interesting night. Sox won too. Don\'t remember who they played though. heh.

Typical night huh?
Light travels faster than sound. That is why some people appear bright...until you hear them speak.
