I hate the Lion\'s Den, in fact I pretty much hate NYC.  None the less I would love to do this but just don\'t see it happening :(

thats the one I was talking about G.

I don\'t see how anyone was there that night wouldn\'t want to go back to the den.

It was only one set though not two!

The jam between merge and phaddy is one of the best and most tastefull I have ever heard them play.

"Rage->Reggae (dub)Breakdown" is one of the best jamming formulas for this band.

I wish they would do it more and they have since striker which rules.

Woops! thats a pretty monstrous one set. They started mad late, so that\'s probably why they decided to play one set. I agree with the rage>reaggae statement. just look at Overexposure.

yup I just remember there being such a charge in the air as they were frantically setting up. Everyone seemed to know it was gonna be the fire. crosstown traffic and area code 212 "It\'s good to be back in the CITY!" -Jordan killer night. the energy just seems subdued at the knit. the section of town in its is bunk. doesnt even feel like nyc. much rather rage the village where there is life.

yeah, that was a great, great night. partied hard for sure. but then the next den show really was the pits, so i\'m sour on the joint. hopefully the upcoming show will turn things around. i\'m sure it will. but only if a fair amount of heads show up. nothing\'s more depressing than an empty den show.

Oh Hell Yeah!

To tell you the truth I have not been back to the Lion\'s Den since the last time The Breakfast played there.

that sounds like a fun ride home! one time after a knit show we got lost in the bronx till the sun came up.

as for ween if it\'s earlier the same night... should set up major promo around that show. i.e. posters all over the place and a few people handing out leaflets before and after the show. bfast start time says midnight on myspace page.

also grace potter is playing in the city that night too. so that is another chance for promo and I\'d also love to get gracie to a bfast show and rock out with her.

ALSO the night before in NYC is a pretty good hip hop show featuring....

Talib Kweli
De La Soul
Snoop Dogg
Raekwon
Q-Tip
Mobb Deep

snoop dogg played at univeristy at buffalo when i was a student there about 3 years ago, and it was the loudest concert ive ever been to by far...it was so loud that i had no idea what songs he was playing since it was beyond the pain threshold for decibel level.  it just sounded like a rocket ship waws taking off about 20 yards from me.  it was a free show, so about 8 thousand people were there when it started...i left after about 40 minutes and there were no more than 3 thousand when i was walking out, and i heard form those that stayed that the crowd at the end of the show was under 1000.  the best part was he blew one of the cones in a speaker since the volume was so high, so in addition to the horrendously loud concert, there was this terrible cracking/buzzing coming from the left side of the stage.
