So, what is the rant that Tim goes on during the end part of the Hard Luck Harry jam?
I would say it starts when Adrian changes the drum beat around 19:05 into the track. Anyone know if this is from something or just spontaneous?

Yesterday I climbed a tree
******** the breakfast ***
It was just then that I realized
A little spot before my eyes

(Then the band kicks into this weird sounding jam at the same time which leads me to believe it\'s from something)

Alas. Alas.

Thats a good q.

It sounds like a rant but I wouldn\'t be surprised if it is an obscure reference.

I made a few additions to what I THINK he was saying and then the second narration. I think it was all just made up. Either way, with the scary ass jam that preceded it was definitely by far the most bugged out freaky shit I have ever seen at a breakfast show.

When tim was screaming in the first part he reminded me of willie wonka bugging out in the tunnel boat scene

Just another day in ????

see gladys walk amongst the flowers
walking along the trees with her kangaroo ????? closely behind her

smokin that black *****
rasin the ruckus
conspiring to the all good of nature
spreading her philosophy to anyone that willing to listen

along comes young oestriker
and he goes "hey gladys"
"your gonna have to teach me gladys"
????? ???? ????
Then gladys, she taught matt a SECRET riff

Matt would you like to play that secret gladys riff that she taught you?

Now that you have learned that riff successfully you can play my song. My theme.

Not so much a theme really

More of a mental take over by gladys ??? the influence on oestriker

??????????????????????????????

The first part is def in Eat A Phone Book Coda.
http://www.archive.org/details/pb2001-09-04.flac16

Jordan sings the first segment:

Yesterday I climbed a tree
******** the breakfast and me
It was just then that I realized
A little spot before my eyes

That\'s as far as it goes though. I\'m sure the second part was reference towards Ellis and the light show like Klout mentioned.
Smell my mule.

since i haven\'t mentioned any hints in a bit....

awestriker (and then tim, a bit) is definitely hinting at bill withers\' Use Me in the leadup jam to HLH.
