 Always here after a win never after a loss. The true definition of a front runner. Enjoy your regular season Seth.

The Lakers went 2-2 on their first road trip w/o Gasol and kept the top spot in the Best Conference.
It is amazing to watch the NBA this season. Every game means something in the West this year and in the East the celts have enjoyed a year in which their conference is abysmal but have kept it entertaining at least.
To think that at least one if not 2-3 under.500 teams will make the playoffs in the East and in the West teams that will win over 50 games will have to miss out is ridiculous.

...and to their credit, without Bynum, the Lakers haven\'t even played with their full lineup yet.

Congratulations to the playoff-bound Los Angeles Lakers! Perhaps the best game I\'ve ever seen Lamar Odom play. Oh yeah, Pau Gasol and that Bryant guy did pretty well too. No team in the West, or the East for the matter, wants to face this Lakers squad in the playoffs.

If LO can keep playing like he has been and Bynum is even at half speed, this playoff run should be a lot of fun to watch.

Jason Kidd is way too funny in that pic.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

See, that\'s the problem. Kobe only scored 49. Clearly, the league\'s soon-to-be Most Valuable Player (for the regular season, at least) would have scored 50 had he cared enough. That\'s it. Trade him for a second-round pick.

In other words, Go Lakers!

Lamar has a shitty night and it\'s not even a problem. Luke all of sudden remembers how to score and Kobe just exerted his will in the 4th.
Denver hide your women!
