Pierce can lick a nut. He played well but he\'s so fucking annoying.

ok brah.  you\'re just jealous he\'s not on your shitty ass bulls (by far biggest disappointment in the nba this year).

Pierce has worked hard and stuck with the Celtics all through his career, especially during the complete bottom-of-the-pot shit times. he deserves this more than anyone.

I can\'t stand Pierce. That\'s all. Thanks.

Leith....Pierce only missed about a minute or two with a sore hamsting (I think), he probably thought it was worse than it was at the time....then he came back and owned the lakers, but you probably know this already by now

Yeah it just seemed like he was supposedly hurt pretty bad. Now it just looks like some really good acting that did it\'s job in pumping his team up.

if LA loses game 2, this series is just about over

Dude that is ridiculous

Not sure why but I found myself sincerely rooting for the Lakers.. Hope they pull out Game 2. Pierce can lick a nut. He played well but he\'s so fucking annoying. Kobe will drop 38 on Sunday... then onto LA @ 1-1.

You did so because it\'s a case of Good(Lakers) v.s. Evil(celtics) and you are a good guy.

I guess I\'d hate him too if I wasn\'t a Celtics fan.  he\'s been the deciding factor in each round of the playoffs.  can you say MVP?

Wow what a finish. The Lakers got jobbed on the foul situation but that should change in L.A.

I have been meaning to ask this... I\'m not a follower of basketball, so I\'m assuming this is why I don\'t understand... Why are so many of you guys Lakers fans? Not trying to stir the pot... I just think I am missing something. Pleading ignorant here.

Joc...
I am not by any means a huge basketball fan...
(dave has always been a Lakers fan...so I sort of grew to like them)...
but for some reason there is something about the playoffs/finals that I enjoy...
& I love Kobe!!  :)

I was born a Laker fan. Even attended a game in utero or so I\'ve been told.

The "Showtime" Lakers (along with the Larry Bird era Celtics) are probably the reason that a lot of people became interested in the NBA all around the world. If a six-year-old Dave Peck (for example) got into basketball because of Magic Johnson in 1985 and has been rooting for them every year since, is he really still a frontrunner 23 years later?

Also, and I\'m not saying Wolfman does this because I don\'t know that, but plenty of people from Boston and New York LOVE to point out that people from Connecticut are, in fact, "just" from Connecticut. So why should we have to choose our favorite teams out of the Boston and New York teams?

Sincerely,
Drew M. Kingsley: a Connecticut native and Red Sox, Eagles, Knicks and casual Maple Leafs fan
