HOORAY LAKERS!  BACK TO THE FINALS!!!

What a game...down 17 early, no problem.  Kobe got it in gear and it was all over.

Celtics\' turn!  They should make it...in 7.

That all goes without saying, I just can\'t believe it took you so long to post after the Lakers clinched.  I mean heck, I was in here before you!

The Lakers just whooped the Spurs in five games, once again rallying from a major deficit, this time sparked by the bench.

Why? Because they\'re clearly better: younger, faster, deeper, just like they are in comparison to whichever team comes out of the Eastern Conference.

One of the elite performances in Kobe Bryant\'s playoff career.

Go Lakers!

Damn.....!/#$%^@!?  who would have thought lakers would rape the defending champs just to wait for my celtics to finish detroit.  west = best nba teams, lakers = balls to the wall (right now) and kobe bryant = mvp no doubt about it.  i fucking hate LA, but there is no way around it.  the only thing i am worried about is kobe getting better before the finals

loved our conference call after the game last night. haha!

fantastic. ugly first quarter, but a 25 point swing!! unreal. SO exciting to witness.

"the machine" sure was doing a lot of "camping at the 3-point line" though. yikes!

and now, we wait.

That was a great call. SO fun to share the euphoria cross country!
We gotta wait until Thurs. damn. Well the Lakers have had at least 4 days rest between each series and it shows. 4-0, 4-2, 4-1.

if the celts win tonight, look out lakers.

if they win in 7, im a little worried.

if the pistons win, this nba season is over as far as im concerned. i have respect for the lakers, but im not watchin that shit.
i think it\'s turning back on me / i\'m down on the upside

With that buzzer beating three the Lakers covered their -7.5 (according to bodog) point spread last night.. hilarious for all those gamblers out there.

If it\'s Boston it\'s done in 6, Detroit done in 5.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash
