hiyooooooooooooooooo!!!!

thanks leith, for taking my call, when pitchie REFUSED to watch his team win the game in real time.

great game. close, but the jazz never led.

that said, i still think this one is going 7.

Anytime Dave.
Yeah it was Utah\'s game but they just never capitalized. How many times did they have the ball with the score tied and just never finished? The Lakers finally decided to finish it out without needing Kobe heroics. Gasol and Odom came up HUGE!
Phil knows how to get his teams up for close out games so I\'m sticking with Lakers in 6.

This series is over tomorrow night. Go Lakers!

Ok, well now it\'s the day after Game 6, the Lakers won (though in much more dramatic fashion that I had anticipated when they were up 19 at the half) and watching the game on tape (once again, without any knowledge of what had happened) was a great way to follow the boat cruise.

Where\'s my purple and gold peeps, yo?

Went to the Celtics box office at 9:40AM this morning...got a nice cut from the lottery, and walked away at 11:03 with two tickets to Game 7 against the Cavs that cost a whopping $18.  That\'s a Rondoesque steal right there!

Going to Game 7 Celtics vs. Cavs tomorrow with mcajam.  Should be fun!  Stay tuned for the recap post!

What a game! Pierce really stepped it up today in a big spot.  The crowd at the Garden seemed louder than the TV announcers at some points. must have been wild to be there Wolfman!

Go Celts!!

Celtics over Pistons in 6
Lakers over Hornets in 7

Celtics over Lakers in 7

if you\'re taking the celtics, i\'m not sure how you can predict anything less than 7 games. detroit is, by far, the toughest of the teams the celtics have faced in the playoffs. cleveland and atlanta took the celtics 7 games, and they\'re 0-6 on the road in the playoffs so far. it seems absolutely silly to say that they\'ll take detroit down in 6.

detroit won the only road game in the whole second round, besides the lakers to end the series, but i agree it will take a hell of a lot to take them in 6, especially with prince defending.  seems like Paul is ready to take care of buisness tho.  got a feeling house will be starting pg next game and not rajon

yesterdays celtics games was one of the best nba games ive ever seen. lebron and pierce goin back and forth, simply amazing. if the celtics make the finals, that game will go down in history
break it down, simplify

Between both rounds the Lakers have had 4 or more days off while the celts have had to bust ass to beat the Hawks and Cavs.
Anyone that thinks the celts will beat anyone in the NBA Finals in less than 7 games is delusional at best.

I like Piece (obviously for the Kansas connection), but I\'m definitely rooting for Detroit.  Let\'s not give Boston fans another sport to brag about.
