My overall recomendation would be Roseland Pizza in Derby, however expect a wait.

I won\'t deny that I might be fucked in the head, but Roseland is still better than anything in New Haven. At the very least, Roseland is just as good. And it blows Lombardi\'s in NYC out of the water.

the downtown danny o\'s (aka the old sully\'s) is a very nice bar.  nothing like the sketchy river road danny o\'s.  dispite the fact that they\'re both owned by danny, on the same road, named the same... they\'re like 2 different worlds.  

but they both have great food.
