This is horrible news for the rock music scene. I am not sure how many of you have actually heard of The Buddahood before, but they truely are a unique band that I have had the pleasure of enjoying live a couple of times before. Tony, not only played guitar, but also vocals and the djembe. Last winter, I interview the band about their latest album and went to see them perform at Ri\'Ra in Burlington. For the conversations I had with Tony and the rest of the band, he honestly was one hell of a man and a lived to play music. honestly i really have no idea what to say. it seems so strange how someone I barely knew could have had such an affect on me. I am deeply saddened by his passing and the music scene is one amazing person less then it was just a week ago.
From what little I have heard, it was a car accident. Please pray for Tony, his family and the rest of the Buddahood.
