Band leaves for midwest on the 26th, I\'m going to shoot for having this done, printed, and  personally delivered to the show at Jake\'s on the 23rd.

Thanks for the support everyone.

Ready, set, DIGEST!

I think the band needs more exposure on the radio, sirius satellite imparticular. I have heard honey butter several times but there needs to be some more live stuff or other tracks from Moxie. maybe somebody could send in a live show to the sirius studio, or somebody could sign up for those \'roll your own\' dj radio shows on sirius 17 and play nothing but the breakfast. also, i know the jam on studio brings in bands to play live on the air as well as intervie; this would be awesome to hear the breakfast get on that. Raq was on there last fall promoting their new album, and i know that exposure plus many tracks from their new album being played has helped the band gain new followers. it may take time for something like this to happen, but at the next album release this would be ideal.

in terms of the next album, i think it should definitely be taken seriously, should contain all new tracks that nobody has even heard yet, should be concise and hold one theme, but still expand the boundaries like only the breakfast knows how. push yourselves and try things you have never tried before in the studio. write songs on the spot and work them out later. i think the album should contain at least one song that could be considered a radio hit. i\'m not saying i want the breakfast to get poppy and go all mainstream, but a 5-minute catchy song is enough to reel in a lot of new listeners who would otherwise be turned off by 10-11 minute improvisations on a studio album. these are all ideas that are just flowing to me, its what i wanted when i was with my old band but we never made it that far.

and tour everywhere all the time. your own festival should be the goal.

Ser Wah Breakfast Show goes SERius heahaha

the SERiusly Ser Sirius Ser Wah Breakfast show

Two serious suggestions from me to the band tho are...

1) Play albany every other weekend or three and promote the hell out of it until your packing red square on a saturday night, and then move up to Rev Hall.  It\'s relatively close and there is still a big market there. Rev Hall used to be packed to the rim and raging with kids every weekend when e-rock booked it.

2)Collaborate with Sam Kininger Band, a sam k and bfast show or even tour would be perfectly sick and off the hook.

I know there are a few of Relix sucks fans, and I only sometimes get the extra free ones they send my friend, but they should spend the money to get on one of the free cd\'s they send out. I guess that depends on how much that would cost. I randomly throw it in for a couple spins to hear whats on it while sitting on the toilet thumbing throught he mag.

Maybe play some shows in stLouis soon to win back some fans  there.

I think the radio friendly route has been tried already with little success. WUIAC deserves to be on a studio album, if you disagree check out Zone 1. Actually, if they wanted to just take the Coma from Zone 1 and slap it on their next studio album, that\'d be fine by me. Merge and Gladys could be there too. The rest could be new songs.

It\'s on a Mokijam disk from the pre-Breakfast years, but it\'s not exactly the sound they have now.

Is there any way for us non-CT types to ever get those Mokijam discs?? Or does one have to be in the inner circle only?

(He says, waiting for all the innuendos to start!!)

Does that mean WUIAC will never be able to be released on a studio album again? I sure hope not. Also, I forgot, I would love to see Sundance and maybe Love Lake on an album some day. Don\'t get me wrong, I want to hear as many new tunes as possible, but these songs should have been on albums by now (IMO).

I have a feeling Mokijam albums are all out of print and probably have been for a long time, but I really don\'t know.

just a FYI, springfield advocate is actually called the "valley advocate"

also, more gigs in NoHo.....Umass has a TON of people wanting to go to shows, and the iron horse shows ALWAYS have a huge draw.  People must notice the lines down the street to get into the place in the coldest night ever.  Maybe co headline a show at Pearl St also with another big name band
