I have a feeling that the pats are gonna stomp on the colts next week

but it would be cool if it was like 63 to 56

I am thinking the same thing.

The Patriots offense is unreal. There are too many weapons in every position. The offensive line is on of the best I have seen in the NFL. If you give a quarterback that much time with those kind of weapons, he will find a way to hurt you. Three running backs last night rotating. woo.

The Colts defense has seemed to be on point since they entered the playoff with that "the defensive is weak and they can\'t stop the run" monkey on its back. Never count out Manning but I think they need Harrison to be 100% healthy to make a difference and add to their arsenal.

Going to be the best regular season game of the year.

The Colts secondary is totally overmatched against the Patriots receiving core, which I predict will result in a double-digits New England victory.

But that\'s not the main story this week. The main story is the revitalized Cleveland Browns! A 4-3 record, Derek Anderson keeps Brady on the bench, and Braylon Edwards is on his way to being one of the league\'s dominant receivers. A win against Seattle this week and this team is playoff-bound.

Ok, probably not, but hey, it\'s been fun so far. The team won just four games all of last season.

Good to hear!  I have a friend from Cleveland who has been dismayed about her team since I met her 8 years ago.

19-0: 10 to go[/B]

QUOTE=Wolfman after Week One - Think \'86 Celtics, \'96 Bulls, \'80s 49ers, \'92 Dream Team...teams that were on completely different planes of existence than anyone available to play against them. That\'s the 2007 Patriots. None of us are going to forget this team for the rest of our lives, Patriot fan or not. Be glad you were here to witness it.

...I understand it seemed cocky at the time, but now when you read that, even you, the Pats hater, are cowering in fear at the inevitable reality of that statement.  Who the hell stops them now?  Great game all around, well except for the refs.  Colts and Pats both brought the heat.  Just awesome.

Hilarious now that the Patriots were called for the most penalty yards in the 60+ year history of the franchise.  Riiiiiiiiiiight. As if this year\'s team, the mighty 2007 Patriots under Bill Belichick, would ever play the most penalized game in Patriot history in the biggest game of the year.  If you\'re a ref and you\'re standing there and you and your crew have just penalized this team the most in the history of their franchise, you know you are totally blowing it by definition.

I need say nothing else.  The AFC playoffs go through New England, and we\'ll probably see this game again.  Take away the horrible officiating and put the game in New England, Patriots win by 13 and cruise to Phoenix 18-0.

Love them, hate them, fear them, do what you will.  You are witnessing football history being written before your eyes.  Don\'t miss it.

Yeah, those refs were pretty awful yesterday. Mainly the one who kept calling Pass Interference. I overheard on the radio this morning that he is a first year ref. Not sure why he would be assigned to such a big game in his first year.

It would have been nice to have Harrison to at least give them a better option on offense instead of Moodhead or Utect, oh well. Addai was def shut down in the second half and I think the Colts defense was a little worn out in the 4th quarter. I\'m still not sure how the Pats managed to win but they did. Very entertaining game and I hope they meet up in the playoffs again this year.

Well well...guess who\'s the latest team to get caught with their hand in the NFL rule-breaking cookie jar?  None other than the angelic do-no-wrong Indianapolis Colts!  Everyone has known for years that they pump crowd noise into the RCA dome, which is against NFL rules.  But now the jig is up as last night the crowd noise CD started skipping for about 4 seconds before the engineer turned it off, at which point the crowd noise instantly dropped about 75%.  It\'s all right here:

If it\'s not obvious enough there, go here and download the MP3 for even clearer sound

Look, I\'m not here to pile on the Colts.  (Although it is extra embarassing when you cheat to disrupt the other team\'s offense and still lose on two late touchdowns.)  I\'m only here to pile on all the syndicated morons and message board morons who sat there and so idiotically chirped that Patriots were the biggest and only frauds in the NFL and that they had to cheat to win.  The Colts cheated, the Pats cheated, your team cheats, everyone is up to something.  The Colts and Pats are still the two best teams in this league BY FAR.  This crowd noise thing is much worse than what the Patriots did because the Patriots were scouting for future games while this actually affects the product on the field.  But whatever, it\'s part of the game.  The coaches and execs throughout the NFL are too competitivie not to do this shit.  They can\'t help themselves.  Accept it and move on.  Just don\'t sit there and act like you and whatever team you root for are holier than thou, because nothing in this league is.

The highlight for me was learning about the Bob Sanders on the Colts.  Sounds like an old white guy or a cartoon character.

It wasn\'t exactly as graceful as Adrian Peterson dancing across the MetroDome turf, but big, BIG Shaun Rogers 66 yard interception return for a touchdown might be the highlight of the weekend. Complete with a big meaty stiff arm of Selvin Young. When a big fella is that close to the end, nobody is getting in his way. Rogers chased after that end zone like it was a Burger King.

BTW, I guess the Lions are really good this year.

Lions 44, Broncos 7

I went crazy when he took it back I loved the stiff arm at the end too.....And Lions HAVE the BEST D in the NFL! And Top 3 Offense as well thats why there Super Bowl Bound! Bring on the Pats!! And no the Lions never cheat. EVER! For the first time in years, it appears the Lions will actually be playing a meaningful game on Thanksgiving when they host the Packers, which makes me real excited. Then they play the Pack in the final game of the season.

Kitna said he would be surprised if the Lions won anything less than 10 games. Well they are four wins away. I hope people continue to doubt the Lions success this season, so they can go under the radar and roll into the playoffs.

Hehehe.  Lions over .500 in November > total fan pandemonium > automatic Super Bowl birth.  I love it.  I totally feel you rujah.  That was me 11 years ago when the Patriots made the Super Bowl after so many years of total suckage.  (The Super Bowl vs. Green Bay that they lost.)  It\'s so glorious the first time you taste legitimacy after decades, neigh, a lifetime of irrelevance and ridicule.  As a Patriots fan I say: Bring on the Lions!

Yeah,

They used to be good back in the mid-90s when Barry played, but they didn\'t have a quarterback. I still remember back in \'94 when they played the Packers in the playoffs. First the Lions beat the Packers in the final game of the regular season and win the division, then they lose to the Packers in the playoffs on a bomb from Brett Favre to Sterling Sharpe. That one really hurt. Strange how they both play one another to end the regular season this year.

All in all it still feels real good to have them with a shot at the playoffs this late in the season. 6-2 is the most wins they\'ve had in the Millen-era and twice as many as last year.

If somehow the Patriots go undefeated (and I hope they do), if they don\'t win the Super Bowl this year, will it be a failure?

Trust me. You don\'t want the Lions in the Super Bowl

Just started watching with about two minutes left in first half. This is about as bad as the Cowboys vs. Eagles game last night. Looks like I will have to watch some NBA.

Did I mention how much I can\'t stand Chris Berman.

Just heard on the news that the network is taking responsibility for the noise issues in the Pats/Colts game and are saying it was only existant on the broadcast.
