Congratulations Yoda, I knew you would do one cool thing before the year ended.
The lights from Ellis showed a mischevious sparkle
That flashed in his hollowed eye stare...

The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

10.13.94 is not really a Gamehendge.. It\'s missing Lizards and Wilson, and the tunes that are there are played out of order. It\'s still pretty damn cool though, with the narration and all.

What\'s also weird is how McGrupp basically replaced Possum as the closer. In every instance but the \'88 version.

There are some who would argue that Gamehendge is not completed. That the reworking order of songs and the eventual shelving of it being the two biggest points that some make. I don\'t entirely by the points this one person makes.

Personally, I think Gamehendge is a work in process that years down the road will resurface, maybe not with Phish but it will definitely be Trey leading you into the green pastures with the mountains in the distance.

It\'s actually 10/13/91 and this is what phish.net has to say...

Sunday, 10/13/1991 North Shore Surf Club, Olympia, WA

Set 1: Runaway Jim, Wilson, Reba, The Landlady, Colonel Forbin\'s Ascent > Fly Famous Mockingbird, Tela, AC/DC Bag, The Sloth, McGrupp and the Watchful Hosemasters, Mike\'s Song > I Am Hydrogen > Weekapaug Groove

Set 2: Llama, Bathtub Gin, The Squirming Coil, It\'s Ice, My Sweet One, Jesus Just Left Chicago, Bouncing Around the Room, Love You, David Bowie[1]

Encore: Eliza, Uncle Pen, Carolina[2]

[1] Hi-hat "solo" from Fishman in intro. Oom Pa Pa, Simpsons, and Random Note signals.
[2] Without microphones.

Notes: The first set is almost a complete Gamehendge narration and is the second time the saga was performed live. Carolina was performed without microphones. Bowie included a hi-hat “solo” from Fishman during the intro, while Trey explained how Fishman’s hi-hat serves as his escape from reality. Bowie also included Oom Pa Pa, Simpsons, and Random Note signals.

Take from it what you will...

Yonrico Scott is the long-time drummer for the Derek Trucks Band. This is his side project, featuring Kofi Burbridge on flute and keys and a bassist and saxophonist whose names I can\'t recall (yes there are details I can sometimes not remember). This afternoon set from Bear Creek showcases another cavalcade of great players throughout. Sitins from Eric Krasno, Mike Dillon, Matt Grondin, and more made this set extra funky, as if \'Rico and company needed any help.

Nice, I\'ll have to check it out... I love good music, but after an hour w/out vocals, the ADD starts to kick in... I had to break up Kung Fu into 30-45 minute segments...

I said the same thing last night about Kung Fu. Need some kind of vocal or something to keep me mind from wondering.
