06. The Sunshine Of Your Love
07. Hear My Train A-Comin\'
08. Can You Please Crawl Out Your Window ?
09. Purple Haze
10. Wild Thing

Total time: 62:16

Notes (from "In From The Storm" site):
This is an upgrade that has been doing the rounds in
Summer 2007. Generally considered to be one of Hendrix\'
finest performances, it has has been bootlegged several
times over the years. These bootlegs have all been missing
"Wild Thing" (19), and collector\'s discs - including the
ATM 093 "Bill Graham Presentes The Jimi Hendrix
Experience" - have only featured 0:46 of the track.
Although still incomplete, "Wild Thing" (19) clocks in at
3:16 here, making this set not only an upgrade in regard
to generation, but also the longest and most complete
version of the show to date.

This disc is compiled from 2 different 1st generation
transfers of the recording, which were both unfortunately
incomplete. The Main portion is taken from the 2nd
transfer, while "Hey Joe" (28) and parts of "Red House"
(19) and "Purple Haze" (27) were patched from the 1st
transfer. It has also been phase corrected and pitch adjusted
(the pitch varied throughout the main source - on "Red
House" (19) alone, pitch saged by about 7% from start to
the end of the track!)

This version of the Fillmore East recording includes various
in-between-song chat and tune-ups omitted from all pre-2007
bootleg versions of this show.

April 2007.

Jimi\'s Afterparty:
12 Interview
13 Acoustic Hound Dog

Notes:
This is a fairly straightforward combination of the two newest but incomplete sources,
in order to make one complete definitive copy of ALL the music from this day.
I compiled the two sources together, renamed the files,
which was necessary, and then placed them chronologically.
I then trimmed just 65 seconds of idle time from the end of track 11 of the soundcheck,
so that that everything from the soundcheck to the aftershow party at Jimi\'s
would fit perfectly onto two 80 minute CDs, without deleting any music.

Source 1, D1 T1-17, D2 T13-14:
"Royal Albert Hall Soundcheck" (WatchTower WT 2005144)
(which is just ATM 227-228 with some very slight EQ I believe.)
From there 65 seconds of idle space was removed from the end of Track 11 to fit everything.
D1 T11: FLAC Frontend v1.7.1 > WAV > Nero WAV Editor v3.5.6.0 > FLAC Frontend v1.7.1 (level 8 )

Source 2, D1 T18-20, D2 T01-12
"Prince Albert Does Not Bite The Tongue" (JPIO-II 017-018)
Which was lifted from Feather Records\' withdrawn mail-order album "Live at Royal Albert Hall"

Also please note the reason that the Track 01 "Interview" from Source 1 was relocated
and finally placed where it is here now near the end of D2 at T13,
is that if you watch the DVD you can clearly see it belongs at that party.

If you already have both of these sources this isn\'t much new,
but it was designed to be a single definitive record of this date
I had to put it together for myself, and for anyone else who might enjoy it in the future.
Thank you to Jimi for the music, the producers, the bootleggers, and the original uploaders.

The informal once-in-a lifetime jam session that brought guitar icons Jerry Garcia and Tony Rice together with their mandolin-picking host David Grisman was recorded in Dawg Studios on two successive evenings in February, 1993. The Pizza Tapes CD (2000) soon became an acoustic classic and one of Acoustic Disc’s most popular releases.

Now here’s the Extra Large 170-minute edition of this legendary session, including 16 previously unissued alternate takes in addition to the original master takes in their original sequence. This unique collection also features more of the personal repartee, which made the original release so endearing and insightful — the anatomy of this very special jam.

you\'re the MAN, freddy!! i\'ve had that 5/10/68 show for a while, but it was a crappy copy. and i\'ve had portions of the RAF show as well, but also with less than desireable audio. and the extra pizza tape stuff will be great to listen to next week at the bluegrass festival on the shenadnoah river i\'m camping at!

thanks!!

so is that the new gordo album?  hope its better than his band was at moe.down. i mean, while extremely talented all around. the band was more of just a supergroup that would click here and there. overall it was very very underwhelming. im sure the album is good though. will check it out.  thanks.

and awesome on the tears for fears, wah!

I\'m gonna call it decent, but I\'ve only given it one listen.  Mike is a subtle dude, so a closer listen is necessary. So far none of his albums have done a lot for me since outside in, but they all have their good points. The songs are great and translate well to a live setting.  To be honest, I dig them the most when Phish does em.

Anyone got TAB at the Tab?
The lights from Ellis showed a mischevious sparkle
That flashed in his hollowed eye stare...
