Since Jordan\'s last show, my feeling about "the next Breakfast keyboardist" was this, "There will be a new keyboardist in this band. However, he will come along at the right time, fall out of thin air, and be someone that nobody has really heard of"........
Well thanks to Broseph and some posative energy, this seems to have happened.......
From the moment Adrian told me about this kid Matt he had been playing with, I had a funny feeling about it...... This is a pot that has been on the stove for sometime now. For a while it didnt seem like things were going to work (this was the initial talks back over some 5- months ago. But as we all know that all good things come in all good time.
I believe that Matt was sent to us to polarize and concentrate this band into the music juggernaut that it has always been intended to be......His talent, skill, and ability are on par with the bands (if you can call what those guys do par). His stage presence and showmanship is that of a consumate professional, but Matt doesnt take it serious (to the point of anal pretentious arteeest) allowing for amazing musical moments to happen spontaniously.
The whole dynamic of what we know as the Breakfast is going to take on a whole new feel. Though the stage setup will most likely be standard Breakfast fare, I believe that what it will generate will be something that we have all heard and hoped in our heads for.
The page has turned, yet again, and I, for one am ready, chomping at the bit for this yet new era for The Breakfast. So as I have said many times during the many changes and happenings within this rock and roll outfit, "It\'s a great time to be a Breakfast fan".
