just wondering, how did New Begininning fit into the flow of the show?  I have yet to hear this song live but think it is beautiful

The band came to a shredding conclusion with Intension. Tim playing slide with one of his pedals, doing some sick finger tapping and playing his guitar with his feet. Some ridiculously awesome antics. Adrian throws the cymbal woooo. Rockstars.

This was one of the many highlights for me - if I hadn\'t seen the Blah Blah Collective this past Monday, I\'d be pretty confused by watching TPalms take his large metal pedal & transform it into a slide for his guitar.  And Animal throwing a mic stand onto one of his drums/cymbals closed out the show.  I might actually watch this DVD when I get it from Ken to relive this madness!

Sometime around 5, we looked for a sunset and around 1pm this afternoon I checked out.

 I almost forgot about this craziness after the show. That sunset (at 5am) was aniiice. Sorry to see that you went and ate a D sometime before the Margaritas and after the cards began.  Hope you didn\'t choke on it.  That is all.

very powerful opener. you know good things are to follow when they start off with puppetry. gbfbits segued nicely into a new beginning. each time i hear this song i like it even more. atsd > spunk was incredible. they kept building and building atsd and the place was going nuts. i peeked at the setlist during spunk and noticed the next song had a NO and then i couldnt make out the rest. i just kept hoping it would be no quarter instead of no glove or no regret. tim did a really good job playing the opening keyboard parts on his guitar. adrian, though having troubles with his mic stand, nailed the vocals. the jam was really nice in this song and the chase was a good way to close out the set. it almost sounded like they were going to head into taboo or not taboot.

they came on stage for the second set and many people still hadnt returned to the stage. they obviously didnt care because they played the best (imo) song of the weekend in the grand scheme of things. i have been listening to a ton of 2001 shows lately and this one reminded me of the earlier versions of this song where its played with pure energy on every note. the drum solo by adrian was out of this world and they decided to scrap Episode 3 since they wanted to keep things moving. superfly phaddy fat had a solid jam section and then shakedown kept everyone moving (at 3am none the less). they ended with a solid intension and called it a weekend.

got home to cuse just in time to see the sun come up. what a week!

good show, Puppetry easily the best of the show, they blew their loads right outta the gates.  Good show all around.  The 1st half of no quarter made me wish they still had a keyboard player, the second half made me glad they didn\'t.  All in all good show good times, was glad Tim atleast gave Thumpasaurus a tease if nothing else.

I had a great time. Was good to see some old familiar faces. Saw a good number of people in Albany at the show that I have not seen in a long time.

late start for sure. HUGE headache when I woke up but was all worth it.

we listened to the recording a bit and I think it sounds pretty good.

YEAH i coulda sworn that adrians setlist actually had no glove no love written on it.  a shock that no quarter came out of nowhere.  also i thought it looked like tim maybe called that no quarter right on the spot.

great show.  so glad i made the drive up to catch the end of what must have been a great 4 nights for those that did all 4.  cant wait for thurs on the boat.

awesome time. im pissed i missed the madness they got into at the end with the smashing cymbals and tim kicking the guitar. too many sake bombs and tequila. after telling ron jokingly that i didnt want to see some lack luster performance after their partying and playing the past 3 nights i think the spunk/attraction spoke for itself. couldnt have asked for more

I was calling this show as the "sleeper" of the run......And it sure was in my opinion.  When you musically kick the fans that were on the first 3/4 of the run in the throat enough, it is pretty obvious that out of self preservation alone, you are going to lose a lot of fans by the 4th night......

I am in no position to start talking about best show/set of the run, but to me, it was great to see this albany show.  The first set was prestine.  The second set was cut short due to attendance and the fact that there was a second opener added to the bill at the last minute which caused a pretty big time issue.

However, this show did contain the highlight of the run for me.  In the jam at the end of Intension, Tim started playing slide guitar with his pedal switcher.  He then preceeded to lay the guitar on the ground and smack it with his hands, and then his feet.  It was definitely the first time at a Breakfast show that I have seen Tim go completely nuts with guitar antics.  It has been done at Good Time Boys shows, and definitely at the Blah Blah show last monday, but I have never seen him behave like that on stage at a Breakfast show......

Regardless, it was an amazing run with an amazing group of friends.  I thank all of you for all the sacrafices you had to make in order to attend these shows, and cant wait till we can do it again.......From me breathing fire on Block Island, to the fastest two set breakfast show i can remember in narragansett, to the Albany Scheemer, I am still reeling........

I don\'t normally talk up my own recordings but I gave it a good listen last night and it definitely ranks in my top 10 breakfast recordings.

It is currently being uploaded to the LMA.

you must have been reading my mind..............my view was blocked by a speaker so i couldn\'t really see what tim was doing on the stage floor, so thanks for the play by play.

i thought it was nutz too, tim\'s broken string waving in the wind! then adrian tosses his mike stand and i\'m thinking oh my gawd, tim is gonna bust up his fender ala pete townsend! i\'m glad to hear there was no harm done

great show, great time, unbelievable band..............that amount of energy after a 3 night run is pretty impressive

thanks again steve-o for the media

I\'m streaming it right now and it sounds very nice.
I WOULD love to see tim beat up on his guitar again, that was pretty wild.  Of course, then Adrian started using his mic stand to beat on his cymbals!  These guys are on fire right now:guitar:
