At Coachella, during the final pre-encore song, “Wake Up,” de la Rocha finally spoke to the crowd at length, spitting a furious political rant that began by suggesting that every U.S. president should have been hung for war crimes. “This current administration is no exception –- they should be hung and tried and shot,” he said, during the song’s breakdown. “But the challenges we face go beyond the current administration… It’s not a system that changes every four years.. It’s a system we have to tear down, generation after generation.” The band moved back into the main riff, while de la Rocha screamed “Wake up!”

Much of the crowd was likely the flaky, spun-out type who would cheer if it was raining urine and turds during the show.  Leith, Anti-American propaganda is really cool!  You are right, I have seen the light.

You have no idea what the crowd is like at anything other than a Breakfast show or a Castro District Bathhouse so I\'ll let you in on something. Coachellla is one of the most diverse festivals in the U.S. drawing just as diverse a crowd.
Rage was not playing in front of hundreds of people rather thousands and I am pretty sure at least 75% of those people were anything but flaky and spun- out. It is not a Hippie fest where that is the norm. Get a Clue Al.

Oh and it is not Anti- American propaganda but rather Anti-American beuracracy and deceit which is rife in our government which he is spouting against. Get it right. Zach has expressed much love for this Country but just as much hatred for the government. I feel the exact same way.
