A good friend of mine is a bridgeport cop, and I know from his beat....it ain\'t pretty. shootings and stabbings are like every day. I\'m sure alot of that will stay out of the festival. But still....be weary when you wander away from the festival. I just want everyone to have fun and be safe. 
Bridgeport\'s actually not half as bad as it used to be. It\'s cleaned up a lot in the past few years, and I\'ve gone there several times for concerts, shows and sporting events without any problems. Yeah, it\'s a rough city, but I guarantee that with the size of the festival, and the amount of dreds/heady people in town, it won\'t get ugly. Ghetto thugs don\'t tend to mess with people who have open minds & open hearts, only rich bitches who have nothing to do but spend their husband\'s cash.... I\'m definitely excited for the festie, and will be there without a doubt. Of course, Skye, you\'re right - it\'s a good idea to be safe & look around wherever you are, but that shouldn\'t stop a person from wanting to have fun!
