How about MIDI triggers on Adrian\'s Kit?

I think it would be sick if he could trade off synth licks w/ Tim.
Memories of that Guitar Center trip in Tempe just made me think of this.

I think it would take the jams to

A

WHOLE

NOTHER

LEVEL
(sorry just watching an old MADtv).

I think all he needs is a beer keg, step ladder and maybe some pots and pans on tour!!!

Adrian is a true musician.  The more tools properly employed, the better

I have talked with Adrian about triggers and he is quite the purest and wasnt very into the idea.  I am sure that if he had the disposable cash he would surround himself with all kinds of toys...........regarding triggers, I would rather see him just set up a smaller electronic kit  (alongside his regular kit) if he wants to get all futuremanlike

Load out isnt too bad.  We can get that entire stage broken down and packed within an hour.......

Well after watching a broadcast of a Porters Big Bang on local cable last night (Thanks Paul!) I would have to agree with Adrian, keep it pure.  Some of the sounds were so cool, like tribal drum calls.  Electronics in that mix would totally spoil it, IMHO.

Adrian should do it up like peart if he wants to go that route: instead of a trigger, get the boy a small xylophone, put it in the kit to the left of the high hat and he can add in all the runs he wants. PLus, it will really fill out the zappa covers.
