Yeah they pretty much left the place in shambles. Amazing show.
I really had no idea they had THAT in them.

I left during the second set. CB\'s is a terrible place to see a band that attracts more than a hundred people. The room is way too long and way too skinny and the sound was not loud enough to drown out the people talking.
When the second set started at around 11:30 things had started to clear out in the back so I was able to find a seat behind the soundboard. The best part of that was watching the house sound guy surf the net and check up on a bunch of hardcore band websites.
At the rate people were leaving that show, I doubt there were more than 70 people left when they finished playing.
CB\'s has never seen such a sterile, uninspiring cover of Sheena. Stay away from punk you obviously don\'t understand it.
Waiting For My Man, TLG played it at the Knitting Factory a little more than a month ago. Way to shake it up for the crowd.

I will not pay more than $15 to see this band again.

Yeah I\'ll totally agree that TLG should not attempt Punk songs. Teenage Lobotomy was only decent.

As for WFMM, it is a crowd pleaser, VU cover, and in regular rotation.

A CBGB\'s soundguy should be checking out hardcore bands.
It amazes me UM and TLG got to play there.

If you left during 2nd set you missed an incredible 3rd set and encore and yeah the 70 or so left @ 3 IN THE MORNING are what you call troopers.
Like the band they were watching.

Yeah it\'s going to be costing more than $15 to see these guys now so I guess you\'re lucky you don\'t have to worry about spending the cash huh?

More dancing room for us then. Thanx!

Oh and yeah since you hate TLG so much why do you keep checking them out?
More to the point why during the Green Apple Music Festival\'s Sat. night were you not @ another venue which I am sure had music more to your taste?

I try to keep an open mind about music. I would hate to give up on a band just to find out I attended a poor show or never heard the part of their catalog that I would enjoy. Plus TLG has generated enough of a buzz in the scene that it is worth checking out their business model.

It was a good excuse to see CBGB and it had a late enough start time that I could still work my Saturday night show.

Open mind is good. Guess you have figured out by now TLG is not your cup of (excuse me for this) Tea?

TLG business model = Constant touring plain and simple. Realize that you have fans all across the country and have the balls to pack up and go
AND then go back again as soon as you can etc.

Lucky for you NYC is a late night kind of city huh?

Yeah you should stay out of the TFA forum.
It\'s for bands that are not The Breakfast.
