what was the song in the first set that tim said was their tribute to Frank Zappa. that was incredible. and the jam that ended scarlet begonias was ridiculous.

i\'m assuming he was talking about frankly po zest...great instrumental off the first album.

yes, he\'s thinking of frankly poZest. It\'s a jam in F#m based on the theme from \'sexual harasment in the workplace\'. Tim wrote it for 2 reasons
1. to give Adrian a song to stretch out and do some terry style fills
2. to give himself a good jam to stretch out and jam like zappa over.

Funnily enough, was just thinking earlier today: when was the last played garcian fishbowl??

Glad to see the boys doing so well out west - just finished listening to the Crystal Bay show which, incidentally, could well become one of my favourite shows of recent months - an I\'m the Slime there and a Frankly Pozest in SF?? Someone\'s been listening to their fz albums again. ;)

March 2nd, 2006 - Stone Church; Newmarket, NH

I: jam > Sleeping Beauty > Lit > Drunk Monk Bar, See The Light* > Fire, The Late And The Great >
Overexposure**

II: Great Big Fiery Ball In The Sky^ > Garcian Fishbowl > Love Lake, Garcian Fishbowl > Honey Butter,
Gravity, Surreal Radio > Hush

E: jam > Dimension 5

* inverted.
** first time played.
^ with \'Garcian Fishbowl\' teases.
^^ with \'Top Gun\' theme tease.

although it wasnt the same Garcian it once was.. just listened to it a few days ago and they dont stretch out that slow jam with ronny\'s simple bass line, i was a bit let down.. although this show is just fuckin sick, finally listened to the Gravity that was being hyped -- hot damn! a much different face than normal, so smooth with a lava flow tone to it... if that makes sense? just listen, youll see.

Funniest moment after the show was when a drunk Lauren (girlfriend), convinced the band wasn\'t making enough money given their talents, proceeded to write a check for $100 to Gavin/Adrian over at the merch table.  They basically gave her a copy of eveything on the table, though she got even drunker and gave almost all the stuff back to T.Palms later in the night.  At least she held onto a couple drums \'n guitar DVDs and the band-autographed Fongoulish Freakout 7 poster.

As Gavin would say, "doozie".
