The 2005-2006 MLB off-season thread

It\'s time to merge the yearly sports threads into 1 comprehensive thread for each sport.  Sports are perpetual.  We talk about them year round.  There need be only one thread for each sport.  Let the baseball thread begin!

Red Sox are well on their way to 111 wins in 2006!  Looks like greatest Sox team since...since...2004!

doesn\'t work that way wolf.. first of all, it would eliminate the need for a sports forum, since we\'d need less than 10 threads.. and secondly, when threads get too big, we start seeing database performance issues.

i sort of just had this great idea that this thread would be about a baseball game between .infoers. just for the record, if that ever happens, i\'m in.

Sounds like fun! Count me in .... perhaps the teams could be - the Matzos vs. the Pastas?

i don\'t know if there are enough matzohs in the crowd to form a team, there is a heavy surplus of italians. perhaps guineas vs. heabs/micks/other...either way i\'m down.
