so, jill and i go into the local ruby tuesdays for some lunch, and the bartender notices her trey shirt and compliments her on it. \'yeah, i\'ve been to a bunch of phish shows\' he says, which gets my mind a wanderin\'... if the d00d likes phish, then he must like great bands with intense guitar, right??? out to my car i go, grab a spare copy of UAC, and drop it off to him. he was a little baffled (not used to strangers dropping bombs, i suppose), but i told him that he\'d like it and to give it a shot. his manager was very baffled, even asking him if i was up to anything illegal (\'no, these are just cd\'s.... i think\'[peeks inside the sleeve]). since its just up the road from our new place, i imagine we\'ll be seeing him again at some point fairly soon, and i\'ll get his feedback for y\'all then. but the look on his face was great! i love bombing random folks!  :hehehe:

Wow, good times.

I totally did this last night at Toad\'s.  This kid comes up to me and was talking about this band out west and how they are like Sublime ect ect ect...I would like them yadda yadda.  When he was done I was like oh so you do promo/grassroots for this band, he said yes.  Then I went on to telling him about The Breakfast, I gave him 1 of my only 6 green tickets (very sad when going to Toad\'s) for the July 1st show.  Put him on the spot but he seemed pretty interested and excited about going to the the show.  So that is promoing at it\'s finest...

Why don\'t you just tar and feather me?

Lol, my buddy got a reminder on his phone at 8 o\'clock (For the Toad\'s show).  By then you left your house so I couldn\'t even call you, plus I had no clue where that bar was where you all were going.  I didn\'t even have access to the forums...

But I did sell at least one ticket..heh

Sell a ticket? What kind of shady scheme you got going? Can I get in on it?
