Does anyone on this board live in Brooklyn/NYC?
« on: May 04, 2005, 03:19:47 pm »
I\'m planning on moving back to NY (to Brooklyn) around August/September with my cousin.  I will be looking at some places this weekend around the Park Slope, Williamsburg, and Brooklyn Heights area. Just out of curiosity for anyone who lives in Manhattan/Brooklyn area, if you happen to know anyone that\'s looking to rent out their place, (in one of these areas) please send me a PM. We already have a couple of places to look at but would like some options.
Thanks

MedusaNYC, Obsession 600 both live there.  May be a few others but I can\'t think of them.

Craigslist is a good way to find housing and get a sense of the roomates/apartments from the descriptions provided.

I know of a good sublet in Astoria, Queens. Brooklyn and Manhattan I can\'t help you with.
As mentioned above,Craigslist  is a good resource.

Welcome back to the hood.

I got out in September, thank god.  But when I was looking I came correct with craigslist and arranged to check out 16 places in 2 days.

good to hear that craigslist works for NYC. Cos for Providence its shit, same overpriced apartments listed for the last 6 months. I\'m gonna be homeless in 25 days.
