definitely one of my favorite bands, but i would NEVER buy this cd.
went to the link and heard jack johnson\'s girly dave mathews voice singing badfish..:vomit2: i think the only two songs on this cd i would actually enjoy listening to would be the ziggens doing paddle out or no doubt doing djs. who wants to hear los lobos doing pawn shop? the michael franti and spearhead cover kinda sucks too. i love sublime and i always have, but i look at the blog and hate how this band has kind circulated to yuppy-dom. it kinda bothers me when i go to pick up my 13 year old sister from school and see a bunch of weirdo gothic kids wearing sublime shirts-really doesn\'t make sense. anyway, if brad nowell hadn\'t died i probably would of dropped out of high school and gone on sublime tour haha

1st I want to hear Los Lobos play ANYTHING as they are THE BEST BAND to COME out of East L.A. EVER!!!
2nd This album is not "circulated" to yuppy-dom. A Yuppy is by def. a young person usually in their 20\'s. People of this age would have listened to Sublime in their teens and thus ARE THE MARKET for this album now.
As far as weirdo gothic kids I doubt Goths are sporting Sublime shirts but if kids are wearing Sublime shirts there why does it not make sense? I think it\'s pretty cool Sublime is still listened to by younger kids.

has PB ever covered any sublime? they should pull out a tune in the middle of Phaddy or somethin, make it a one time deal at the Baja Bash. "Don\'t Push" would be a good one.
The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

i always thought "greatest hits" would make for a great breakfast cover, but apparently they dont like sublime.  im psyched that this cd is gonna have some good tunes being covered.  "work that we do", and "get ready" are two of my favorite songs ever

pb covering sublime would be awesome!! i think there are a lot of songs that they would pull off really well..
sorry leith, not a huge fan of los lobos. i\'ll look words up in the leith dictionary before posting again :) i think it\'s awesome that little kids listen to sublime now, i was in middle school when i first started listening to them. it\'s just weird for me to see kids like that. anyway, hopefully someday hard core gangsta rappaz, gothic kids and punks will listen to the breakfast together.

You no like kick ass rock n roll ? Is it the Spanish lyrics that throw you? Have you heard Los Lobos Live in Person? Sorry just been a Los Lobos fan since I was like 16.
As for all the kidz listening to The Breakfast we can only hope.

get ready is definitely one of my all time favorite songs too.

Interested to hear no doubt, g love, and ozomatli take a crack at those songs.  Listening to the cover of what i got right now and its not too bad.

We will never hear the breakfast cover a sublime song, though it would be great.  Closest we\'ll get is the boomers doing what i got.
Play some Weezer!!!
