HELP!
« Reply #15 on: January 23, 2005, 12:45:08 am »
Hey!  Saw this show on etree this morning, hooked up the torrent then went to shovel my house out of the snowbank that fell on it this morning.

Came back tonight to see me stuck at 96%!  I got the first track to successfully complete but only one more was done out of the 50 files! such a teaser! can anyone hop back on for a bit to finish me off?  thanks in advance!! it sounded great!

Have reopened, but once you\'re there can you help the new leecher out as I\'m planning on seeding an Airplane show on EZT.

BTW, great recording, chris.

And the above message was for 2PNW.

EDIT: Not showing as complete as I edited the text file to reflect the dumb/On A Plain edit. Give it a minute or so.

Hang on, why am I firewalled?? Always seems to happen on etree, but not on EZT. Ideas anyone??

EDIT#2: I\'m no longer firewalled - ????

I can open it back up (i think I still have the files) when I get home.  It won\'t be until after 5pm (CST).

quick question, if i have my flac encoder tool set to get rid of the flac files after i decode them to wav, will I be able to reopen the torrent seed by re-encoding the files back into flac format?  not sure if i said that right, but any info would be appreciated.

no that probably wont work. i am sure someone else will be able to seed though.

If you are burning CDs with nero you dont have to convert from flac to wav. you can just bring the flac files in and burn them as an audio disc and it will convert them on the fly. This way you save space on your hard drive by keeping them in flac and it only takes one step instead of two. Plus i encode my flacs in level 8, so they are more compressed and the files are smaller and it will take a very long time to decode them compared to shn files. Its so much quicker to just load the flac files right into nero.

OK, i guess I need to look into obtaining this Nero.  I just use the software that came with my Dell.  Not even sure what it is!  I just got the thing, and most of what I download just goes straight to the iPod.  I may still have the original flac files, im not sure... if i do i will reopen...

I just updated Azureus a couple nights ago. This post reminded me that I have to go in and reseed a couple shows I was seeding. I\'ll take care of it when I go home for lunch.
