Of the following venues that The Breakfast is least likely to ever play again, which one would be your top choice for hosting a future show

The last Callahan\'s show was my first PB show.  I\'d love to go back there.  Plus, Cliff loves when people who aren\'t drinking go to shows at his places.

Great poll!  Ha!  "Of the following venues that The Breakfast is least likely to play again..."

I\'m gonna vote for Wetlands.  Baker and Butterfield will never be the same again.  I don\'t think shows there would really be that good now, unless all the old people showed up.  A show at the Wetlands would be awesome.

When I speak of these venues, I refer to the state they were in when PB last appeared there.  Quadfest was nuts, Butterfield had absolutely no rules and everything went etc.  The question can either be serious or a sort of fantasy idea.  Since most of these places are defunct, shows really aren\'t possible.  Butterfield would be a possibility even though it is a freshman dorm now, but it wouldn\'t be like 1998-2001 shows there.

This brings me to another poll question (maybe someone else could start it): Which venue is presently the best place to see a Breakfast show?

Tobacco Road is deffinatley a fantasy show since it is no longer in existence and I think they have just as much a chance of playing the Annex club as they do Tobacoo Road again. Im gonna go with Butterfield

I\'m gonna have to vote for the nostalgia of the old Butterfield shows for these reasons:

-$3 admission price for a couple raging sets [(PB always saved the best sets and surprises for those shows) though I usually got in for free for major promotional effors in the dorms by rallying people up for the shows during the weeks leading up to the "big night"]
-Anything was possible for the most part.  Security was run by PB heads promoting the show so excessive drinking and other stuff was possible for all the minors.  Kegs were right upstairs and you could travel to and from the show for beer in your party cup at anytime.
-Most people there (CT people and others like Jocelyn etc. excluded) lived in the building or in nearby buildings so we could walk over and not worry about designated driving.
-The show was usually a precursor to the band partying all night in the dorm with the all the excited fans.
-a home-like feel with the band setup on a rug level with the fans.  No small club can ever get intimate like that place.
-almost everyone in the crowd knew each other so it was a party with your best friends and your favorite band.  Great vibes knowing that everyone got to experience the same thing.  The show was usually the talk of the dorms/dining halls for days afterwards.
-people literally prepared days in advance for the shows so it was highly anticipated by all in the vicinity.
-everybody had some booze and other stuff all while under the groove so it always enhanced the rowdiness of the place.  You could hear people screaming from the show if you walked five minutes away in either direction.  This is what originally attracted me to Butterfield for my first show in 1999.
-We had a wrestlamania 420 in between sets on air mattesses at the 3-30-01 show.  It\'s weird how we remember these dates so lucidly.

and the list goes on and on........

I would have loved to see PB at the Wetlands.

Since I know very little about NYC music venues, what were the main draws at Wetlands?
