So, in continuance with "Jocelyn\'s Summer of Classic Rock," I got free tickets to go see C,S, & N up in Manch-Vegas on Saturday. It... err.... had some highlights. Crosby\'s voice sounded really good. The sound in the arena was really bad. SO echoey unless you were dead center. Which I wasn\'t. So I had to keep sneaking from seat to seat, getting kicked out of each one after about 10 mins. Nash was kinda non-existent. They played a bunch of new tunes and a lot of CPR material. Pevar basically had to hold down the whole band, he would be playing guitar  (standing in the background with no lights really on him) while the others lept around all dramatically acting like it was them making the sound when it obviously wasn\'t. Funny. . Actually, no, the bass player was pretty ok too. I think the only time anyone in the crowd realy moved a muscle was during "Love the One You\'re With." ugh. Wooden Ships, however, was really really good.

After the show I drank Guinness at a place called Ok Parkers. After that, walking down the road, I tripped because my sandals were falling apart, also I was drunk, and I fell on the pavement and took all of the skin off both of my knees and there is a bump on my head and it hurts like hell. Ser roadburn. Some lady driving by yelled out of her car window, "It\'s a long walk home!"

All in all, a good night. :)

I saw CSN&Y a couple of years ago at the civic center....

I loved the show.  Nash was my personal MVP of the show....

I have heard a lot of people say that about him, which is maybe why I was so disappointed with him. Oh well, maybe just an off night.

Shut up Dave. :D

Pick up a Graham Nash\'s Wild Tales or Songs For Beginners.  Great stuff.  The man writes beautiful music.

Okay I am a semi expert at the blame it on the sandals fall, happened to me a little over a month or so ago. Was running in a buddy\'s driveway after a very very large amount of yellow beer consumption and fell flat to the ground (blamed it on the sandals, which was confirmed cos someone saw one just give out), and then later in the evening at Margaritas, I missed the step from the lounge to the bar and fell flat on my face in the middle of the bar, beer in hand (thankfully only the few people I was there with managed to see that one). Although I didnt get both knee caps it was one knee and a good amount of the other forearm, no head, caught myself. My reccomendation: use a shitload of neosporen or the like and keep those scrapes wrapped up like a bastard, otherwise it takes you at least 3 weeks for the scabbing to go away and leaves ya with a semi scar. I chose the latter, no neosporen, though I was a hard ass, turned out to be a huge mistake, took me a month for those things to heal. . .
"Okay everybody, for my next miracle, I\'m going to turn water into funk!"

Ah, compadre! That is a reassuring story. Makes me feel a little better abotu my folly. I can\'t bandage though- I\'m in riding breeches all day ya know and they make the bandage get all bunched up no matter what I do and it\'s a mess. Never mind trying to ride a horse with the bandage putting all kinds of extra pressure on my knee. So I\'m just going to have to tough it out. No problem. :strong:
