who loves reggae?

John Brown\'s Body - Pressure Points

bought it today, its incredible for roots, dub-style reggae. it sounds like Black Uhuru done right. perfect harmonies, sweet horn fills, definitely infectious dance grooves. im shocked, these dudes are white and they sound like a true jamaican import. theyre playing in Utica on Sep. 9, y\'all should check them out. i bet their shit is awesome live, they\'re an eight piece i think with live horns. ill find out in a couple weeks with a Milwaukee>Chicago two-nighter.

i like vol 2 better, although that song (number eleven) about billy jacobs on vol one is fucked up. also bumpin mf doom live from planet x, hot shit, change the beat, gas draws, rhymes like dimes, all the classics. and of course frank sinatras greatest hits vol. 1

Trading off from one track of Umphrey\'s McGee Safety in Numbers and Widespread Panic Earth to America. It\'s eerie almost how well they play together.
"I have spent my life seeking all that\'s still unsung.
Bent my ear to hear the tune, and closed my eyes to see.
When there was no strings to play, you played to me."

Shpongle- Are You Shpongled?
Brazilian Girls- Talk to La Bomb
DJ Inc- Live at Tempo(ATL) 3/04

and an in depth review of \'06 Biscuits and marveling at the pace that the band has improved with the new drummer.  It is unreal what they have done in less than a year.  They truly have awoken the RAGIN\' Bisco Fiend in myself, that over the past 2 1/2 years has been lying dormant.
Too fat for a tandem bike, and too drunk for a Mountain Bike...taste the fear.
