iTunes Question
« on: October 27, 2008, 12:32:36 pm »
I need to do a re-install on my computer.  Can I copy my itunes files so that I have all the same info in itunes when I re-install it?  I have everything on back up, but don\'t want to have to re-add 60+ gig worth of music.  Any help would be great.  Thanks.

just make sure you save the library folder. you\'ll have to drag and drop the files in the old folder into your new itunes which will take a couple minutes but it won\'t be anything more than that. all the file info (naming stuff) will be intact.

Thanks for the info... My wife clicked on a link to a virus that I couldn\'t get off and I had to do a system restore last night.  I\'ll restore the back up tonight, hopefully everything will run smoothly.
