following the birchmere show, we got them booked at the bar we worked at. this is that show. let me just say this, marc ford, johnny neel and i were totally in synch, completely on the same wavlength, absolutely getting down together. this show is a little rawer than the birchmere show and barry oakley, jr spent the whole post-show time successfully trolling for ass. it was funny. i\'d step out from the green room, see a chica i knew who would then beg me to take them back there to talk with him.  three seperate ladies this hapened with! so pimp.... they played another mulligans show, but i don\'t think i ever saw that one appear on disc (or, if i did, it was given directly to me & jason & it was a crappy recording)... that one was a sloppy, addled mess, frankly.... but not this one. this one was still a ton of fun!

edited to add~ if for no other reason, then get this to hear johnny\'s keyboard solo in have a cigar. he makes it a woman\'s voice-ish and has an arguement... no i didn\'t, i didn\'t say that, don\'t you go sayin\' that... followed up by a pretty sweet (though not mind boggling) allen woody guitar solo. lots of trippy sound effects throughout, too... baby\'s crying, women laughing... and the who knows jam is absolutely on fire!!!

there\'s the cymbaline. someone on another board wanted to hear it, so.... not the best track on there, but very soulful (if you can excuse the occassionally off vocal harmonies) nonetheless.
