i\'m probably going. i received a guest list offer last night to record, which i think i\'m gonna accept.

i couldn\'t believe the $30 price tag though. and wu-tang is fetching $40 at toad\'s in january! i\'m curious to know what the most expensive toad\'s ticket has been.

toad\'s was jam-packed last night, at $30 a ticket, on a sunday night, with shitty road conditions. i didn\'t realize Matisyahu was so big..

the show was decent. i dug some of it, but a lot of it kinda bored me.. i was kind of all set after about 45 minutes or so.

highlight of the night was the opening band, Dub Trio. i really wish i had enough juice to record them, cause they were damn good.

yea, about 11p I remember looking at my watch and being a little bored. Then they played for another hour  They were good, just predictable. We\'re spoiled by the breakfast.

I knew it would be a big show, I\'ve seen promo stuff for matisyahu all over mtv and myspace before. Whoever is doing his promo knows their stuff. I can\'t even fathom how much money they must be pulling in given the weather conditions, a sunday night in new haven and $30 tickets almost sold out. Def the most people I\'ve seen in toads in years.

Sunday though doesn\'t suprise me, since he doesn\'t preform on the sabbath. The Jewish sabbath, which would be saturday. They had a barrier in front of the stage. Only thing I could think of was to keep female fans from aciddentally touching him. Crazy.

Thanks again for the ticket dave!

Dub Trio is AWESOME, they have stuff on the Archive.  I cannot believe they were getting $30 for Matis???  I guess its a cool idea, but for $30 give me the Waielrs or Steel Pulse or Black Uhuru!

Now $40 for the WU is understandable, they are one of the biggest things to happen to HipHop EVER!  Plus there is like 100 of them, so they need the extra dough;)
