oh and seth, sorry we didn\'t make it to your afterparty.  we were in NO condition to go anywhere else after that show and we couldn\'t afford the cab there and back... next time, when i\'m driving and not relying on public transportation

are you mad cause you got thrown out for being underage??  how can you be mad when you weren\'t susposto be in there in the first place??

it is one thing to be denied at the door for trying to use a fake or to get kicked out of somewhere for underage drinking but it is another thing to supposed to be working the merch table and to have already been within the establishment for quite sometime and then being asked to leave.. the d00ds at harper\'s are just straight up dicks.... there is to much shit going down in Allston for cops to make random stops at random venues/places of imibement on a Saturday evening...
btw who is Soul Sacrifice credited to ???

I can see being allowed to stay if you were working the merch table, but did you get caught drinking or something??

i had been at the venue for hours and was not drinking at all..i had planned on not drinking that night (didn\'t touch a drop of alcohol) and still got shit. i was going to be at the merch table for the night and they still wouldn\'t let me stay after ron talked to the management. i definitely did not get thrown out for getting caught with a beer or anything like that.

well that clears it up...that sucks, but to some places, rules are rules.  They probably have been shut down prior to that for underage drinking or something of that nature and couldn\'t have taken the risk or something

ahh Soul Sacrifice ofcourse the name escaped me when I was at the show.  Very cool jam with Brian from Rez.

Tough battle defending the club my man.  You\'ve seen the stories...Freddie and Nikki were also kicked out, and they left 21 behind a long time ago.   :duck:  But really, do you think a 400 show veteran and a band member\'s wife would go around a show being disruptive enough to deserve getting kicked out?  Postom had 2 friends kicked out too.  I\'ve never heard of 5 people being kicked out of any show, and that\'s just the 5 we know about.  Also, Holly really was supposed to work merch.  There was nobody working Breakfast merch.  I chipped in the few minutes I had, but also observed sadly as people came over, fondled a Breakfast CD, were not spoken to, and left.  What self-respecting rock club forces the bands that play there to go the night with nobody working merch because the band\'s help is under 21?  Who benefits from that?  What if the drummer is under 21?  If a band tells the club that somebody works for them, and they clearly work all night and don\'t drink, they need to be allowed in.  That\'s rock-bottom basic club management, something Harper\'s Ferry was lacking at this show.

What reason/s did the club give when they asked you to leave. It seems pretty stupid that they would kick out the merch person considering that most venues take a cut of the merch sold. My better half has worked merch for many bands at many venues and thats usually the standard operating proceedure.

The whole 21 thing really gets me pissed off.

your considered an adult at any age if you commit a serious enough crime.

Your considered an adult at age 18 because it suits the needs of society (military service)

Your considered an adult at age 18 you have the right to vote.

But when it comes to alcohol the age of knowing right from wrong is 21. Go figure

you can also buy cancer (cigarettes) legally at 18, I honestly think this country needs to adapt Canadian laws for drinking, they dont seem to have problems up there (i dont think)

so, how was the music, GUYS?

thats actually a fucking sick, sick setlist for a shorty.
