Grateful Dead 3.18.88

Everyone do yourselves a favor and check out this show(even if you just stream it off LMA)...The whole show is SOLID but it is mostly the Space->Other One->Stella Blue->Throwing Stones->NFA that BLEW MY F\'ING MIND! Plus they encore with "Brokedown Palace", "so you know it\'s good!"

They would have killed people back in the acid test days had they had some of the technology they acquired over the years...it seems funny that the "furthur" they got away from the "Summer of Love", the more "psychedelic there sound got(at least in the 2nd set songs or 1st set closers)

Also, get the new "Truckin\' up to Buffalo" dvd...straight up show with only lyrics as extras but it is a GREAT show... July 4th 1989!!!

I want to check out the "Truckin\' up to Buffalo" DVD, it must have just come out?

Thanks for the heads up on GD shows. Not being a giant GD fan, I tend not to really know what is epic and or insane from the grandfathers of jam.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

I like to just go to the LMA and stream random shows from odd years trying to find a hidden gem that others might not talk about...there are soooooo many of those it is fun.

If I am on the road for the Boat->Block Island with you we should find some way to watch that shiznit.

they were true innovators of both the recording and live sound process.  their biggest problem was having the cash to make their dreams a reality.
