It\'s chaos here but I\'m fine, just in case anyone was worried.

In a typical british manner cups of tea are being handed out at emergency sites to the injured.

Try other sites \'cos that\'s probably gonna be flooded.

Good to hear that you\'re alright, aren\'t there a couple other on this board from the UK?  Any word from them?

Makes me really wonder if this war in Iraq is "keeping us safe from terrorism" or just the wrong course of action all together.

But if, as AC-DC said "Hell Ain\'t a Bad Place To Be", can we send \'em somewhere worse? Don\'t think there\'s anywhere suitable really though.

Sorry Rob, I\'d forgotten you lived Down Souf - hope all your nearest and dearest are also OK.

At least we can thank dog it didn\'t happen last Saturday during Live8; carnage could have been even worse. Still no official figures on the casualties yet. Uncle Tone looked visibly drained when making a statement at Gleneagles. The bastards timed it pretty well though, just ahead of G8 and after London won the Olympics bid. I just hope this doesn\'t lead to an anti-muslim backlash - it\'s taken a long time for us to to recover from the social ramifications of 9/11.

Yeah when I heard about this on the radio this morning I thought that was tough timing; I figured a lot of people in London must have been psyched about the Olympics... and I was wondering if it was at all related to the G8 summit.

All of those affected are in my thoughts....
