Pending an official release for the moe.down slot, which one of these two do you think will have a more significant impact (turn more people onto the band).

If the late night set at 10kl is a go, I vote 10kl, have a feeling its gonna be one long long summer night (ala yasgurs).

my vote goes to 10K. the band is known in the northeast, i think most people at moedown will have heard/seen the name before. the midwest area is kind of an isolated region from tb.

yes I agree 10, lakes should be a bigger impact, as far as the band at moe.down the deal is they will play in between moe.s sets, so the chance of anyone sitting in is slim, moe. will want thier break and not venture out I would think. they do not have a slot on the big stage, only in between sets on either friday or sat. Ron was not sure which day.

moe. down because 10k is far for anyone, not just from here but anywhere.  moe.down will most likely have a better turnout,    better turnout=more exposure

i have not seen the band list for the lakes, but is it not bigger name bands??? I heard trey and widespread are playing that is why I think it will be better for them.

the fact it is northeast in itself is better for the band since it is where they play most there shows.  and there are plenty of nationwide moe.down goers anywho.  they\'ll play multiple sets, probably around 45 minutes or so a piece.  its all about the mainstage(during moe.\'s set) band segues too, so anything could theoretically happen as far as band interplay.

if they play saturday night,  they\'ll play pre-moe. (which is normally right after whatever the 2nd biggest act is) and at setbreak, so that is when the highest percentage of people are in the "concert" area.  if they play friday, then that means they play more sets(cuz there\'s usually is only 1 beer tent band on friday).

how many stages are there at 10,000 Lakes?  I don\'t even know what the lineup is to be quite honest.  Hopefully there won\'t be a conflicting act that will deter people.

10000 Lakes!!!

a well played and produced set here would make them stars!!! You are talking about two gigantic names in the jamband scene, Trey and WSP! They bring the fans.

however, they must promote their show at 10000 Lakes to no end! I assume that 10000 Lakes will be a tent show, and if it is, then people need to know about it, the more fans the merrier. I am sure that they could win their hearts over.

and,

moe.down could bring us to the next level of clubs. give them a fanbase of a couple 1000 more.

so,

in the end I guess both can do them justice. a well placed time slot wouldn\'t hurt either.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

tough call- late night @ 10klakes could be monumental, if that does indeed go down, and they are given a fair amount of time to take over people\'s souls... the list of bands for this festival looks quite long which could mean for many bands performing late night sets..juggling favorable bands at a festie sucks..
as for Moe.down- the whole NE factor is def. a plus.  People in the moe. community seem to be very open and accepting of having these guys play this year.
all in all, I better make it to at least one of these fine musical gatherings...
Not sure what is gonna transpire. Regardless, we ain\'t gonna forget the gravy.
