Tim Tour \'04 08-11-04 Setlist
« on: August 12, 2004, 01:59:06 pm »
My lame attempt at last night\'s setlist.....Not alotta freaks at the show but it was still a fun sing-a-long fest.....The Ren & Stimpy theme song/"Log" commercial coupled with some  first time Monkees (for me anyway) had me smiling all the way home.
Thank God  I did NOT get beaten up by any security guards, or face any brawny dimwitted amateurs trying to throw me out.....I hung out with my "family" and was glad to see Walsh\'s smiling face. Oh yeah and it was FREE (except for the Guinness)I didn\'t start keeping track till Tim was a few songs into the 1st set and songs are NOT necessarily in order (excuse my ADHD) so here goes: Quasi- Set #1
People are Strange, Brain Damage, Cocaine, Crystal Ship, On the Road Again, Space Oddity (AWESOME), Tangerine, You Don\'t Know How it Feels, Ripple, Vaseline. ??????
Quasi-2nd set
In bloom (Nirvana request from young Adam), Happy Together, (Ba, Ba, Ba, Ba, BABABABAABBBABAH) Hits from the Bong (a real crowd pleaser), Joe\'s Garage ("turn it DOWN!"), Champagne Supernova ala Mr. Wah ->Great Big Fiery Ball->Champagne Supernova, Ren & Stimpleton/LOG JAM, Phish tribute YEM->Linus & Lucy->Smoke on the Water->Dancing Days->YEM-> Evil Ways->The Chance-> YEM->vocal jams, numerous chants (i.e., L.S.   "D" & Trippin\' "Face"), Uncle Albert, My Sweet Lord (with full India -Hindu babble), Splash ->Catholic Girls (for Jenny, Anita)->Jewish Princess->Catholic Girls, She Said, Last Train to Clarksville, With A Little Help From My Friends-> Star Spangled Banner (remove your hat Curtis)
and finally humorous anecdotal prose by Walsh (soon to be High School English teacher) As always a fun way to break up the week and begin the weekend. CAN\'T WAIT FOR CAFE 9-Peace
