there really isn\'t a sensible place to play after great woods.

providence?

i don\'t know the reality of driving up there... just that google says its 30-40 mins away. also, hotels will probably be more abundant (and cheaper) in prov... but again, i don\'t know the reality of that.

it doesn\'t have to be right after, either.... i\'m just looking at the map and seeing that, if we skip darien due to being so far out of the way, we\'d have a two-day gap between mansfield and camden... any shows anywhere between those two would work just fine, for me! ;)

Sure there is!  Providence RI is 25 minutes away.Sure it\'s on the far end of the spectrum, but it is still close enough to be considered a \'post phish\' gig and draw from the crowd.

its just not the most logical scenario.  getting out of the great woods parking lot alone is a giant pain in the ass and then making the trip to providence, you\'d be less than likely to get to a post show on time before the bars close.  i\'m sure there are better places on the tour that make more logistical sense than in providence on a tuesday night after a phish show in mansfield.

i\'m sure you can hit a wednesday night timmy tour show in new haven between great woods and camden.

Having a post show in a different state kind of defeats the purpose of it being an after show...

Come on jking! Can\'t you go to a breAkfast show that\'s not a post phish event? You can do all those phish shows but breakfast isn\'t worth traveling for unless phish is playing somewhere?

the only reason i\'m considering the mansfield date is to get some breakfast in. otherwise it\'s just gonna be camden>merriweather (if we even do camden). a pre-camden show somewhere in nj would also work...

don\'t get me wrong, i\'d see them much more often if they played closer, but they don\'t. i\'ve not missed a show i was around for that was within 2-3 hours since 05. over 3 hours is pretty much my limit, though.

and it doesn\'t have to be post-phish, just nestled within those dates, is all...  that way i get the best of both worlds. that\'s not askin\' too much, now is it?! ;)
