Turbine GO SEE THEM!
« on: January 16, 2009, 05:19:34 am »
So I just got done running lights for Turbine at Winstons.
I had never heard them before but WOW great band.
Fun to light for sure. Really good songs. Great vocals and one dude jams the harmonica w/effects and shit while playing an acoustic guitar. Pretty SICK!

I\'m lighting them this weekend in L.A. they were that good.

They are on a huge national tour and tearing it up! They are out of NYC so you all should get plenty of chances to check them out if you have not already.
They will be playing with Kimock\'s Crazy Engine later this year.
Worrying is like praying for something you don't want.

I saw them open for Breakfast one time... can\'t for the life of me remember where or when (probably 2-3 years ago)...

Don\'t remember it being bad but its a foggy one.
Put the pointed pencil in the pepper-po and take a little sniff of the things below. :sadban:

I believe they opened for the Breakfast at Mexacali Blues in Teaneck sometime in 2005. They played longer than the Breakfast did. I think they were only acoustic at the time.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

BJ (fuzebox/bad apples) engineered and/or recorded their last album. they\'re good!! I think they did a few shows at Daniel Street.

i thought it was the same band! and they definitely were acoustic last time i saw them.

they played at The Field in bridgeport this past fall, i had a great time, and the show was actually much different than when i last saw them. full band, pretty cool songs, i was certainly surprised at how much they\'d changed over the last 3 years...
and what CAN you do, when your world is invaded by a reggaejunkiejew?!?
