Are you going to make it fighting the bay area traffic?

Yes, I\'m hoping to leave work between 4-5 and have my bag packed up and waiting at home.  The time Fitz, Buquebus and I drove up there in 2006, I left work at 6pm, got stuck in traffic, waited 40 minutes for a pizza in Sac and barely made it there.  We should be ok, but we are basically going through two commutes: Bay Area and Sacramento - you never know what to expect until we are on the road and heading into the mountains.

When I was out there last September I remember wanting to put a bullet in my head leaving the bay area. I thought I was in the clear than I realized it was God making a joke.

I believe we sat in traffic for 4 hours leaving San Fran/Oakland. It was Friday, I believe.
Love many, trust few and don\'t be late.

What was it, a holiday weekend or something?

I don\'t think so but it might have been Labor Day weekend. Can\'t say for sure or maybe it was just the wrong place/wrong time.

gitCHu ONe.....gitIT DOne....ride your bike to the show.  24 miles.  I know the western shore has some great bike trails, hopefully the eastern side also does.

There are some nice trails, and I\'ve actually contemplated this. err...

I haven\'t seen em play this far north before. I moved here last year from Phoenix and always did the Flag/Tucson/Tempe run with them. I noticed that I missed the last time they came here and vowed to NOT miss it this time. Then I sold my car and thought nothing more about it. I have mentioned this show to my friend here who is a music fan but I don\'t think has been properly introduced to the likings of The Breakfast and/or jam music for that matter... but any musician should see these guys play anyway cause it\'s truly a clinic for all instruments. He said he was down to go but didn\'t want to stay out late because it\'s a "school night". We\'ll see. I\'ll pistol whip him into submission if I have to.
Negative, I am a meat popsicle.

The show will likely run from 10pm - 12am; not too late unless Rufus calls very early the next morning.  24 miles is too close for him to pass up.

Doh! I really could use a ride from Carson City. Tuesday night is hard to convince any driving non-believers that it should happen. I should know more by this weekend (cause I don\'t like to spring this shit on people last minute), but as of right now... I ain\'t gots no ride. :(

looks like 30 miles.  PM Leith, maybe he\'ll pick you up.

I\'m actually the one driving.  It\'s myself, Leith, Helluvahat and my GF in a hatchback - basically no room for a 5th.  Most importantly: I am working on the day of the show and we have to speed up to Brahoe (minimum of 3 hours) and also fight off the rush hour traffic leaving the bay, possibly with little time to spare.  gitCHu ONe, I hope there is a wook somwhere in your vicinity who has an affinity for either music or gambling.

zurflu\'s gaydar will help him navigate the congestion.
