Hit the Brass city brewfest today.  I know what you\'re thinking "what the hell is the brass city?"  That\'s waterbury brah!  The dirty water.  They put together a fun little beer garden right in the middle of that ghetto (yes, I was rocking the ghetto toss tshirt)...Liberty Park.  Approx 150 different beer vendors from all over the country, and 2 belgian tents (that required an additional $10 entrance fee, above the existing $35 ticket).  I\'m not sure I tried samples from all vendors... but I\'m sure I was close.  IMPO the clear winner of the day was the Ithaca Apricot Wheat.

Somewhere around my 15th visit to their tent, their rep said to me "...it\'s like crack..."
They had 4 or 5 MEH bands playing... although I did hear a little jam happen here and there... which made me happy.
2nd place went without question to PorkSlap

The beer was... umm, I have no memory of the beer.  But the name and the logo takes them to the top of the class.  So good, I had to buy a badass $10 tshirt. Their website is pretty funny (have your sound on):  http://www.butternutsbeerandale.com/

ghetto toss shirt replaced Monkey Farm as my favorite, but it had a short run, because PorkSlap is my new favorite.
