We were totally talking about these guys on the board a few days ago.  ;)  I guess we are trendsetters.

Like, oh my god!

(I kid :) )

It\'s all good, Joc.  I probably would have verbally followed it with an  oh my god. ;)

Why the comparison...?  Are they touring together or something?

It\'s strange, these are the two bands I was most curious to see at Bonnaroo, and I left Tennessee thinking the title of this thread exactly.  Don\'t know how it\'s relevant to anyone else.  They are very different.

BTW- Can anyone find me a recording of the Raconteurs Bonnaroo show?

I can\'t make any comparisons here (never seen MMJ live) but I just saw The Raconteurs at Lollapalooza and they were the SHIT! Best genuine rock & roll show I\'ve seen, seriously. Jack White with this supporting cast is what I\'ve been craving.

Speaking of Lolla, y\'all should ask dave and mike how their camping experience was....

And lucky for me my girlfriend just gave me a $25 iTunes gift card which I used to purchase both Raconteurs albums... Consolers Of The Lonely is the tits (w/hard nips)!

The crickets and the rust-beetles scuttled among the nettles of the sagethicket. "Vamanos amigos," he whispered, and threw the busted leather flintscraw over the loose weave of the saddlecock. And they rode on in the friscalating dusklight.  --Eli Cash

This thread was started awhile ago. I\'m not sure the reason for comparison, I\'ve never seen MMJ. However I now KNOW The Raconteurs are NOT mediocre.
