just watched this movie. this man just amazes me with his ability to travel across any genre and move me so emotionally. part of it is his ability to make me examine my own mortality...which is scary, but neil always makes me feel like it\'s really ok all in all. this is him doing the mellow thing at ryman hall in nashville playing an old guitar that belonged to hank williams. i can pop in weld next and watch him totally freak out with crazy horse or watch a musical in greendale and ALWAYS feel this way when it\'s over. he has a unique ablity to go left when everyone is thinking of going right and staying fresh for an old hippie. the next project is never like the last and never written to satisfy the mainstream. in fact, quite the opposite. i have a thing about some of these old hippies ticket prices, so i wasn\'t planning to see this tour, but i may need to reconsider just this once   ;)

I saw this is playing on Direct TV this month I\'ll have to watch it.

Neil will be in NYC in the next few weeks for several dates if you are looking to catch him live.

i pulled his 10/22/07 portland, OR show - first set acoustic, second electric. so! damn! good!!!

if he\'s nearby, i\'d go check him out!
