Trouble decoding flac
« on: March 31, 2007, 05:36:59 am »
Thanks for the BT guys but now I can\'t seem to decode them.

Xact just says error decoding even when  click "decode thru errors". I tried using MacFlac and that just hangs and does nothing.

Can anybody help?

Why is it never easy?.......

I ran into a problem decoding some flacs a while back and it was because I needed to upgrade the flac decoder. There is a newer version and it will open anything new or old, but the old version cannot open files zipped under the upgrade. I\'d say start there. Redownload the software and see if it works.

Pity you\'re on a MAC - Trader\'s Little Helper is the best program to get - does shn/flac/ape and will detect mp3 sourced files.

BTW RobdogUK? You from my side of the pond too?

Hey, yeah, we\'ve spoken (or written before) but I don\'t get much chance to write on message boards these days and it was a while ago, at least a year or so, since I\'ve posted with any regularity.
Works a little quieter so I sneak a message or two when no ones looking.

I seem to remeber you were in Wales. Or did I make that up?

Oh hang on, it says so right by your names doesn\'t it? Duh!
